She taught elementary school in the Chicago school system on Chicago's west side for 15 years (1970-85), taking her life in her own hands every day in a no man's land between Vice Lords and Ganster Disciples street gang turf, before going into mental health services. If you don't like that public school systems are on track to provide ALL THE **** AMERICAN HISTORY, not just the **** whitewashed trash that we received, that's too **** bad. Most of us who grew up in the 50's and 60's (well OK those of us with half a **** brain) are pissed off and feel ripped off by the **** history we were handed on a plate in elementary and high school.
